About Renou

At Renou™ Health & Wellness Coaching the focus is on “health-span”(vs. life span).  It’s not just about living a long life but living a long healthy life.  At Renou™, the “noise”, confusion and conflicting information on diet and nutrition has been filtered out.  In fact, we don’t talk about “diets”.  The focus is on good-for-you-foods, “real” food, and their impact on your body, brain, behavior and emotions.  The approach is science-based and integrative - meaning the goal is to improve the overall health and wellness for individuals at any life stage.  The program is based on the acronym, L.E.A.N., Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition – which we refer to as “the four pillars of health”.

Regardless of your age, you can influence your long-term “health-span”.

Meet the Coach

You know the saying, “do what you love”, right?  I love coaching & teaching (and my dogs).  In workshops or one-on-one settings, I’m energized when someone has that “a-ha” moment and they “get it”. Something resonates. Something makes sense.

I also love food.  As a classically trained chef, with 25+ years in the culinary & food industries, cooking with fresh ingredients has always been a priority.  Not fancy, just fresh.  After all, who has time for fancy?  Learning to use herbs and spices when cooking not only effects the flavor but the nutritional content, too.

I chose to pursue the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute program for three reasons; one - the L.E.A.N. program is a comprehensive and holistic approach to living; two, it is a science-based – no diets, just eating right; and three, clients set their own goals.  You succeed by making small sustainable changes to habits and routines because you understand why it’s important to your overall health.

I look forward sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge to improve your “health-span” and cooking expertise to inspire and increase your kitchen confidence.
